How big should a splatter screen be?
Confused about sizing — some say get one bigger than your pan, others say exact match. I have 10-inch and 12-inch pans. What size actually works best in real life?

Slightly larger is usually better covers the edges where splatter escapes most. Exact match often leaves gaps. I use this one that’s around 13 inches unfolded https://www.amazon.com/splatter-screen-for-frying-pan/dp/B0DSWPHZ6K?tag=contractorhub-20 perfect overhang on my 10- and 12-inch pans without being too bulky. Dome shape helps contain upward spray too. Works on both sizes seamlessly. Sturdy enough not to bend when lifting. Big improvement over undersized ones I tried before.
